Organic, Biodynamic & Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. La Cultivada Picual is our most recent monovarietal. It comes from the youngest olive trees on the Estate.

This variety of olive is greatly appreciated for its high concentration of phenols, including one called oleocanthal with anti-inflammatory properties. This high level of natural antioxidants make La Cultivada Picual especially suitable for taking care of your health.

  • Organoleptic Profile

Medium-high green fruitiness with a predominance of green notes, and medium bitterness and spiciness.

Its aromas range from leafy greens to tomato through to fig leaf.

    A full-bodied oil.

Good balance between the nose and the palate.

  • Food Pairing

La Cultivada Picual is ideal for grilled meat or traditional meat stews, as well as to accompany oily fish. Ideal in a Mediterranean ali-oli sauce, or for preparing the famed chilled soups of Andalusia: gazpacho and salmorejo, or an ajoblanca made with almonds or broad beans. It combines very well with garlicky or pickled food, and will liven up artichoke hearts and asparagus, or any dish made with mushrooms.

For a good salad dressing, try blending La Cultivada Picual with honey, mustard and sherry vinegar.

It is also excellent for preserving raw or cooked foods.

La Cultivada Picual adds the perfect finishing touch to:

    – Salads with spinach, chicory, endive or watercress.
    – A simple salad of fresh chopped tomatoes.
    – Artichokes and asparagus.
    – Partridge or wild boar pâté.
    – A smoky salad of roasted vegetables such as aubergines, peppers, onions and tomatoes.
